ELIZABETH TIPTON

Beth Tipton is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Statistics Department at Northwestern University. Her research focuses on the design and analysis of field experiments, issues of external validity and generalizability in experiments, and meta-analysis, particularly of dependent estimates.

Dr. Tipton earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from Northwestern University in 2011. She also holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Mathematics from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.
