Our client is seeking detail-oriented Eligibility & Enrollment Specialists to join their team and assist patients with insurance eligibility, public assistance enrollment, and financial assistance programs. Job Description: As an Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist, you will work directly with patients to verify insurance coverage, determine eligibility for assistance programs, and guide individuals through the enrollment process for state-sponsored healthcare benefits. You'll play an important role in ensuring patients maintain access to the healthcare services they need while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Verify insurance coverage and determine patient eligibility for healthcare benefits.Assist patients with enrolling in state-sponsored healthcare programs, including AHCCCS.Educate patients on available benefits, coverage options, and renewal requirements.Monitor eligibility renewals and proactively help prevent interruptions in coverage.Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.Review and audit enrollment information to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with clinic staff to support patients throughout the enrollment process.Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and exceptional customer service. Qualifications: Previous experience verifying insurance eligibility or enrolling patients in healthcare benefit programs.Working knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and/or state-funded insurance plans.Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system; NextGen or similar platforms preferred.Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility processes in a medical setting.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Experience working with diverse patient populations is highly preferred.
