Elevator Operator - Seasonal

Responsibilities

• Aid in the loading, unloading, and transferring of grain and grain products via trucks, barges, and rail.
• Perform basic housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Assist with basic maintenance activities.
• Comply with all company safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of grain industry experience preferred.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly controlled quality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.
• Some mechanical background, including the ability to recognize signs of operation failure.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with other plant personnel.
• Regularly perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 75 pounds, and entering confined spaces.
