Electroplater Trainee

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to join our team in an Electroplating role. You'll be working with metal components, applying plating solutions, and ensuring high-quality finishes through precise processes. This role requires good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. If you take pride in your work and enjoy hands-on tasks, this could be a great fit for you.

What You'll Do

• Prepare parts for electroplating by cleaning and inspecting surfaces
• Operate and monitor electroplating equipment and chemical baths
• Follow documented procedures for plating operations and quality checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Take initiative and demonstrate a strong drive for results
• Follow all company safety policies and practices
• Work overtime when needed (not mandatory)

What You'll Bring

• No prior electroplating experience required — training provided
• Experience in manufacturing or metal finishing is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds consistently
• Stand and sit throughout the workday as needed
• Comfortable working around chemicals and using appropriate PPE

Compensation & Schedule

2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm • 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am
$19.00/hr + $3 shift differential • Generous PTO • Quarterly Bonuses • Overtime available — not mandatory
