Electrophysiology Technologist

Role Overview

The Senior Electrophysiology Technologist (SEPT) performs advanced cardiac procedures under physician supervision, utilizing specialized equipment such as fluoroscopy and digital imaging to diagnose and treat heart arrhythmias while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex electrophysiology procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate specialized equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular or radiographic technology program.
• Professional certifications including RCES or equivalent, and Montana Radiologic Technologist license.
• National certifications from recognized credentialing bodies (e.g., Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARRT).
• CPR and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 4 years of electrophysiology technologist experience demonstrating relevant competencies.

Pay

$42.75 - $67.50 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials and bonuses.
