Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced electrophysiology equipment and monitoring systems to ensure flawless functionality before, during, and after every procedure.
- Partner directly with the electrophysiologist during procedures by managing diagnostic instrumentation, cardiac pacing, and real-time data recording to guide critical clinical interventions.
- Conduct inpatient and post-operative cardiac device interrogations to assess implant performance and optimize patient therapy.
- Coordinate the end-to-end clinical journey for outpatient visits and inpatient procedures, serving as the primary patient liaison to ensure seamless scheduling, thorough pre-procedure care, and ongoing patient trust.
Requirements
- Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
- Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credential from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
Qualifications
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
