About the role
Join our team as a full-time, day shift Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist responsible for providing advanced technical support in the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory. Under the supervision of electrophysiologists, you will assist with complex procedures such as catheter ablations, pacemaker and ICD implantations, and cardiac monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support in the EP laboratory
- Assist with catheter ablation procedures
- Assist with pacemaker and ICD implantations
- Assist with cardiac monitoring
- Work under the direct supervision of electrophysiologists
Qualifications
- Active registry credentials (ARRT, RCES, or RCIS)
- Demonstrated hands‑on EP procedure experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath or EP lab
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy
- Knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation
- Knowledge of electrophysiology principles
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy and radiation safety
Skills
- Experience with catheter ablations
- Experience with device implants
- Experience with 3D mapping systems
- Experience with subcutaneous ICDs
- Experience with leadless pacemakers
- Proficiency with EP recording software
- Additional experience with structural heart procedures
- Leadership experience is advantageous
