Electrophysiology Technician - Providence Anchorage
About the role
Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! $15,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Responsibilities
- Affords cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.
- Knowledgeable in Vascular and Cardiac Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol.
- Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program.
- Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
- Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality.
Requirements
- Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Or
- Upon hire: Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Graduation from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures, Or equivalent education/experience
- Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician
- Experience in invasive electrophysiological procedures

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
