About the role
The incumbent has specialized, advanced training to provide frontline technical and clinical support for the Arrhythmia Services. Provides advanced technological application skills for electrophysiology procedures. Performs duties under the general supervision of the Arrhythmia Service Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support for electrophysiology procedures.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in electrophysiology procedures.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective conduct of electrophysiology procedures.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Experience in a high volume arrhythmia service or cardiac cath lab.
- 2 years of experience in a high volume arrhythmia service.
Qualifications
- RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) within 2 years of hire (preferred).
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
