Electrophysiology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Utilizes advanced clinical skills to assist the Electrophysiology (EP) physician in diagnostic EP, mapping, and ablation procedures.
• Monitors hemodynamics and performs pacing/recording using EP recording systems.
• Documents procedures in the EMR system.
• Collaborates with medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the EP suite.
• Trains and monitors the performance of all personnel working in the EP suite.
• Maintains compliance with the organization's regulatory standards and CMS regulations.

Requirements

• Associates degree from an accredited Radiology Program, or a graduate from a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician program, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 months of Cath/EP Lab experience.
• At least 3 years of Cath/EP Lab experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• ARRT-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification, or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification, required upon hire.

• $20k sign-on bonus available.
