Job Summary and Qualifications
The EP Specialist, under the supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services, performs daily operations for the Cardiac Cath lab. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cases, hemodynamic monitoring, assisting providers with EP studies, catheter ablations, and implantation of cardiac devices, adhering to aseptic and sterile techniques, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Required: BLS & ACLS certifications
- PREFERRED: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology
- RCES experience
- Experience with operating the Intracardiac Recording System
- Experience with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting specialized EP equipment and this includes recording, 3D mapping, and ablation systems
Hours
4, 10 hour shifts (typically 7am-5:30pm)
No weekends, call or holidays
