Electronics Technician

Responsibilities

- Test, troubleshoot, and perform the service work required for maintenance of a variety of avionics components - Utilize various types of specialized test equipment to diagnose issues with aircraft components - Interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and instructions to properly perform duties - Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons - Document and report repair work using company software - Interact with engineering and quality personnel as required

Required Qualifications/Skills

- A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training - Electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly experience - Soldering experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Positive attitude and outstanding integrity - Strong technical and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

- Strong mechanical aptitude - High-precision soldering experience - ESD & IPC certification - CAET certification - Military aviation maintenance experience, preferably at the I-Level (Intermediate Level)

Additional Information

- Background check is required - Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements - Schedule is 40 hours Monday - Friday 1st or 2nd shift - Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE - Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. - This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance is not available.
