Electronics Technician

About the role

ERS is a specialty disaster recovery company focused on restoration of machinery, electronics, appliances, musical instruments, and other specialty items after fire, water, mold, and other losses occur.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team of technicians to conduct testing, disassembly, restoration (training provided), reassemble, and troubleshoot the items mentioned above.
• Work primarily in our shop, but sometimes can take place in all kinds of environments after losses occur. Many times the loss sites are hot and without power.
• Assist operations in the field during packouts/delivery, including driving a company vehicle, digital inventory of items, detaching, packing, and assisting with transport to/from our shop, as well as on-site restoration work of items.
• Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm, but some jobs may require the team member to be flexible and stay late to complete before leaving for the day.

Requirements

• Speak clear English (second language is a plus!)
• Be flexible with last-minute changes to schedule/job priority
• Have experience working on/troubleshooting electronics and appliances
• Pass a criminal background and drug screen
• Have a working knowledge of home appliance installation and home theater components/installation
• Be willing to travel for short periods (up to a week at a time) up to 20% of the time
• Be a team player

Pay

$14 - $20 per hour, depending on experience level.
