About the role

TDXi, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I - WISS/Video Teleconference Technician (VTC) Operator. This position is based at Eielson AFB, AK, and is full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Supports briefing and debriefing for exercise and daily flying training operations.
  • Maintains and operates VTC equipment in MBRs and CCRs, and other VTC facilities.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains secure and non-secure VTC networks.
  • Trains government personnel on the operations of the VTC system.
  • Operates and maintains the Weapon Impact Scoring System (WISS).
  • Produces video content of aircraft/threat engagements and bomb impacts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in maintenance or equivalent related expertise in electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of VTC systems, computer systems, and ability to install, configure, repair, or replace VTC equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical circuits, digital video systems, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with radio transmission fundamentals.

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Valid state driver’s license and flight-line driving permit.

Skills

  • Technical knowledge of video teleconferencing equipment principles.
  • Ability to diagnose and restore equipment operation.
  • Understanding of network file storage systems and networking fundamentals.
