About the role

In Siloam Springs, we specialize in the production of our Micro‑V, Synchronous, and Bandless V‑Belts, created in all sizes and dimensions. Our process starts with raw materials—molded, heated, and cut to size to meet specific orders. When finished, our belts are marked with the Gates logo and shipped to customers around the world.

Responsibilities

• Build and test operability of electronic systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning circuits, programs, and controls.
• Service or calibrate electronic test equipment or electronic control systems.
• Use RSLogix 5000 to troubleshoot programs for ControlLogix and CompactLogix.
• Use RSLogix 500 to troubleshoot programs for MicroLogix, SLC 504s, and SLC 505s.
• Use RSLogix 5 to troubleshoot programs for PLC‑5s.
• Troubleshoot and install sensors, switches, light curtains, guidance systems, and I/O devices.
• Set up and configure PanelViews.
• Wire cabinets.
• Set up and configure AB Servo Drives and tune their motors.
• Set up and configure AC drives.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lb.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree or technical certification in electronics/electrical field preferred.
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronic equipment and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week plus overtime with reliable attendance.
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic reading, math, computer (Microsoft Suite), and measurement skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
