About the role

This is a 3rd shift position, Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical component failures
• Troubleshoot and repair AC / DC drives and motors
• Perform repairs and maintenance to maintain production at target efficiencies
• Perform and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment through housekeeping
• Develop PLC architecture designs, including Ethernet, ControlNet, and Remote I/O projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical education
• 5 years’ experience
• PLC programming experience required
• Minimum of 5+ years of industrial maintenance service preferred
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’S and PLC ladder programming
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment, such as ammeters, voltmeters, Meggers, conduit benders, and other hand or power tools
• Electrical experience in 480-230 1-3 phase services, troubleshooting circuits, motor starters, lighting and control wiring a plus

The ideal candidate will have a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail, as well as good physical health and strength. They must be able to climb a ladder and work in high areas, and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with a focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and meeting deadlines.
