Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and change over electronic assembly and injection molding machines
- Monitor molding and assembly equipment for efficient, continuous operation
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and production documents specific to electronics and molded parts
- Use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to meet strict quality standards for both electronic and molded products
- Support production goals with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing or plastics injection molding preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills in both electronic assembly and molding processes
- Ability to read English work instructions, schematics, and use basic math
- Comfortable with computers, production software, and manufacturing tools
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 lbs. as needed
- Stand or sit for extended periods (4+ hours)
