About the role
Maintenance Electrician Technician positions are available within the manufacturing and operations department. These roles require a high school diploma or equivalent, along with an associate degree or technical school certificate in maintenance or computer-related fields. Certificates or licenses in maintenance or computer-related fields are preferred. The technician must be proficient in performing complex maintenance activities, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform all process checks required for the position, including CP, CCP, QP, and CQP.
- Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement deviations.
- Identify and understand customer requirements and assist in ensuring proper production operation.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Document all work performed and parts used in the CMMS.
- Modify, fabricate, and upgrade production equipment as necessary.
- Implement and complete preventive maintenance tasks using predictive maintenance techniques.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities, identify parts and tools needed, and track performance metrics.
- Continuously train and update skills to maintain certification levels and stay current in maintenance techniques.
- Use and apply Oracle eAM for budget planning, work planning, and other functions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate Degree or Technical School Certificate in Maintenance or Computer-related fields
- Certificates or Licenses in Maintenance or Computer-related fields preferred
- Proficiency in performing complex maintenance activities, including problem-solving and process improvement
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Continuous learning and participation in training courses
Skills
- Good understanding of materials and maintenance activities
- Ability to modify, fabricate, and upgrade production equipment
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair activities
- Ability to use Oracle eAM and generate reports
- Understanding of various electrical, controllers, and instruments
- Experience with PLC operation, GuardLogix, and Safety Circuits
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, lubrication, fasteners, tools, drives, and transmissions
- Ability to operate and understand various plant utilities and alarm systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, vendors, contractors, and other maintenance partners

Pay
The base pay range for this role is $31.50 - $41.99 per hour, depending on experience.
