Responsibilities
- Perform testing and validation of high-voltage electrical assemblies used in naval and defense applications.
- Use oscilloscopes, digital volt meters (DVMs), multimeters, and other electronic test equipment to perform functional and diagnostic tests.
- Troubleshoot electrical assemblies and systems to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct high-voltage testing on electrical assemblies and systems while following established safety procedures and standards.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and documentation to support testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate closely with assembly and quality teams to verify that products meet specifications and quality requirements before shipment.
- Apply knowledge of electronic components and electromechanical assemblies during testing and troubleshooting.
- Document test results, issues found, and corrective actions taken in a clear and accurate manner.
- Participate in hands-on training and continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing or similar hands-on environment.
- Experience testing electrical assemblies and systems, including high-voltage applications.
- Proficiency using oscilloscopes, digital volt meters (DVMs), multimeters, and related electronic test equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues using test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience with AC power systems, including exposure to transformers or related equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic components and electromechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and other electrical diagrams.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Eligibility to work on government contractor projects in accordance with applicable requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience working with high-voltage electrical systems in a production or test environment.
- Exposure to testing or supporting transformers or AC power systems.
- Prior experience in a naval, defense, or other mission-critical manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Pay and Schedule
- The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00/yr.
- This is a Permanent position based out of Wallingford, CT.
- Work Environment: Fully onsite in a manufacturing environment with a Monday–Friday schedule. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with two 15-minute breaks and a lunch break each day.
