Work-Life Balance

What You’ll Do

  • Performing corrective, preventative, project, and emergency electrical/electronic maintenance on plant equipment and utility systems
  • Troubleshooting, modifying, calibrating, and checking performance on plant equipment
  • Supporting PLC programming and electrical control system work
  • Ensuring electrical equipment and installations meet applicable requirements
  • Completing assigned projects, including planning, purchasing materials, modifications, and major overhauls
  • Monitoring critical equipment and assisting maintenance and production teams as needed
  • Following food safety, quality, GMP, housekeeping, PPE, and OSHA requirements

What You Bring

  • A high school diploma/GED and/or technical schooling
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate level
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complex troubleshooting instructions and equipment manuals
  • Familiarity with motors, PLCs, controls, instrumentation, servos, electrical distribution, VFDs, and valves
  • Two years of maintenance and/or logistical equipment experience preferred
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a food manufacturing environment

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain strong dependability, including an absenteeism rate under 3%
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and other duties as assigned
  • Pass power equipment certification as needed
  • Pass the Ramsey Electrician Technician Test
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, kneeling, repetitive motion, and stair/ladder climbing
  • Comfort working in a food manufacturing environment with loud sounds, occasional heights, and warehouse/external exposure
