Electronic Technician
About the role
Seeking motivated individual with experience installing and servicing intercom paging systems in commercial and education environments. Technician will be responsible for the successful outcome of projects and oversee/train co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Install and service intercom paging systems in commercial and educational settings
- Oversee and train co-workers
- Reside primarily in the field, with HQ in Williamsburg and job sites in Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond
Requirements
- 3-5 years installing/troubleshooting paging analog and IP paging systems (Valcom is ideal but Bogen, Dukane or equivalent is required)
- Applicable industry trainings
- Familiarity with construction techniques
- Computer and networking experience
- Own basic industry tools
- Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license
- Professional appearance with friendly, responsive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile
- Ability to pass background check and become DCJS licensed
- Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to all safety protocols
- Must have applicable experience OR demonstrate very good motivation to learn
