Electronic Technician

About the role

The team in Space & Defense at Moog is seeking an Electronic Technician to join their ranks. This role reports to the Product Test Manager and is based in Blacksburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Correctly store, clean, and maintain tools and equipment
• Verify calibration dates/seals
• Thoroughly complete data sheets/test reports for parts tested
• Perform qualification, acceptance, or special tests
• Develop trouble-shooting procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of logic circuitry
• Learn how to use new types of test equipment and test systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment
• Load and maintain software for ATE
• Help train/cross-train others
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• A Two-year Associate degree in Electronics or related field (military education/experience will be considered)

Pay

Salary Range: $18.05–$22.00 per hour

Onsite – Blacksburg, VA
