About the role
Subsite Electronics, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking an Electronic Service Technician to join their team. Located in Mt. Sterling, KY, Subsite Electronics provides comprehensive electronic products for underground construction professionals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and apply information from a variety of sources, including Engineers, Operators, Dealers, BOM’s, Repair History, Schematics, Engineering Change Orders and Quality Reports.
- Use electronics tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, soldering irons, etc.) to build/repair a variety of electronic devices.
- Use electronic equipment (oscilloscope, volt ohm meters, frequency counters, etc.) to troubleshoot, analyze electronic circuits and correct problems.
- Disassemble, repair, and assemble electronics products.
- Establish cost estimates that may include purchased components, manufactured parts and assemblies, and labor time requirements.
- Help write test and repair procedures.
- Meet or exceed typical expectations for creativity, productivity, quality of work, and safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in Electronic Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related discipline preferred.
- Electronic Service Technician I: 1-3 years of prior experience in an electrical or mechanical industry.
- Electronic Service Technician II: minimum 3 plus years of prior experience in an electrical or mechanical industry.
- This role involves independently moving 50-70 lb. equipment, and frequently repositioning these electronic items throughout working on the repair each day.
- Have a good work record of self-motivation, judgment, and productivity.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and related engineering information.
- Have appropriate experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and fixtures.
- Have effective communication skills, and work well with others.
- Be willing to work overtime or extra hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $21.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Location
Casually located on-site in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
