About the role
Lundquist Associates Integrated Systems (LAIS) is a full service Systems Integration firm specializing in Integrated Security and Access Control Systems, CCTV, Intercom, and Intrusion Alarm Systems. Virginia DCJS # 11-2019. LAIS is seeking a qualified Electronic Service/installation technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Program, install, and service low-voltage electronic systems, including access control systems, security intrusion systems, closed circuit television systems, and intercom systems.
- Program and troubleshoot access control systems and CCTV systems.
- Read and interpret installation and programming manuals.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly learn, or already know how to program, install, and service low-voltage electronic systems.
- Training in programming and installation of Access Control Systems and CCTV systems is most beneficial.
- Being a military veteran is a plus.
- Self‑starter capable of programming and troubleshooting access control and CCTV systems.
- Ability to clear a routine Virginia State Police and FBI background check.
- Obtain, or possess a current Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) electronic security technician registration.
