Electronic Security Technician, Level II
About the role
Cennox is seeking full-time, enthusiastic Electronic Security Service Technicians to join our expanding Electronic Security division. We are looking for passionate, experienced security professionals that are ready to work in an environment that allows you to grow as Cennox grows.
Responsibilities
- Perform field service and related project work for electronic security systems in banking, retail and commercial facilities throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas.
- Work with a variety of electronic security systems including but not limited to Bosch, DMP, Honeywell, Radionics, 3VR, Verint, and March Networks.
- Interpret written instructions and documents.
- Communicate and provide excellent customer service.
- Have mechanical/technological/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds.
- Ability to sit and drive vehicle.
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
- Knowledge in surveillance and security systems with basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes.
- IP Video and IT/Networking knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, timelines, and other plans/or drawings.
- Banking experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle.
Requirements
Previous knowledge and training in the electronic security industry preferred.
Previous experience with Physical Security and VAT Systems.
Smartphone familiarity and technologically savvy.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps.
Working knowledge of electronics, wiring, local and national codes.
Banking experience a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
