Electronic Security Technician, Level II

Cennox is seeking full-time, enthusiastic Electronic Security Service Technicians to join our expanding Electronic Security division in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for passionate, experienced security professionals ready to grow with us in a dynamic team culture.

About the role

In this role, you will perform field service and related project work for electronic security systems in banking, retail, and commercial facilities throughout Atlanta and surrounding areas. We welcome both tenured experienced technicians and ambitious technicians looking to advance their careers.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain electronic security systems
• Work on projects in banking, retail, and commercial facilities
• Interpret written instructions, blueprints, timelines, and plans
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Previous knowledge and training in the electronic security industry preferred
• Experience with Physical Security and VAT Systems
• Smartphone familiarity and technological savvy
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
• Mechanical/technological/electrical aptitude
• Ability to interpret written instructions and documents
• Ability to learn through telephone training
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of surveillance and security systems, including basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes
• IP Video and IT/Networking knowledge preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, timelines, and other plans/drawings
• Knowledge of Bosch, DMP, Honeywell, Radionics, 3VR, Verint, and March Networks systems preferred
• Banking experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a reliable vehicle

• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
• Vision correctable to 20/20
