Electrician (South)

Job Responsibilities

• Construct, install, inspect, repair and operate electrical equipment located in substations, power plants, steam tunnels, vaults, telecommunications buildings, as well as company and customer facilities
• Work on AC/DC control systems as well as hi-voltage transmission and distribution equipment
• Perform limited electrical operation and switching
• Perform other specialized and miscellaneous duties as required or assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Be a current State Licensed Journeyman Electrician
• Have a minimum of two years' experience as a max rated Electrician/Plant Electrician/Substation Electrician occupation within the last 10 years
• Have an Associate's Degree in an Electrical field such as Utilities Engineering Technology, Substation Tech or equivalent military training
• Have successfully completed 2 years of electrical engineering coursework at an accredited post-secondary school
• Technical diploma in an Electrical Power Distribution or equivalent

Pay

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
