Electrician - Plant 1 (Days)

About the role

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book. Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair, or install equipment. Assist with general cleaning and/or other crews if required to maintain safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

Pay

• Pay Range: $27.25 to $41.75 per hour (based on experience)
• Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm
• Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am and 4:59am

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment is preferred
• Knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass an electrical test to determine skill level
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work from a ladder
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
