Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as per the electrician training book.
- Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair, or install equipment.
- General cleaning and/or assist other crews as needed, maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain disease control requirements while performing job duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Plant Electrician or scale technician in a production environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Pass an electrical test to determine skill level.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to work from a ladder.
- Able to work rotating shifts and weekends.
- Able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
Pay and Schedule
The pay range is $27.25 to $41.75 per hour, with additional compensation for hours worked outside standard shifts.
