Electrician Journeyperson - 2nd Shift
About the role
Working in a small crew between 2-6 employees, you will ensure work has been accomplished satisfactorily and meets all craftsmanship requirements. You will teach helpers and improvers as required, read and interpret basic specs, drawings, and Mil standards pertinent to the work item. You must demonstrate satisfactory ability in knowing and interpreting Standard Item 009-73 and 009-23, as well as understanding category 1 and category II standard items related to the electric shop. You must demonstrate satisfactory ability in accomplishing Tag Outs requirements and interpreting WAF requirements. You must demonstrate satisfactory ability in BASIC trouble shooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work has been accomplished satisfactorily and meets all craftsmanship requirements.
- Teach helpers and improvers as required.
- Read and interpret basic specs, drawings, and Mil standards pertinent to the work item.
- Demonstrate satisfactory ability in knowing and interpreting Standard Item 009-73 and 009-23.
- Demonstrate satisfactory ability in understanding all category 1 and category II standard items and the ones that pertain to the electric shop.
- Demonstrate satisfactory ability on accomplishing Tag Outs requirements and interpreting WAF requirements.
- Demonstrate satisfactory ability in BASIC trouble shooting skills.
Requirements
- Requires High School Diploma + 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience at journeyman level OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must know all QA requirements for work they are required to accomplish.
- Must be able to do pre checks prior to selling system to GOV'T.
- Must be able to call out a Checkpoint and performing it.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $61360 - $93662
