About the role
This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues in electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout
- Operate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Document work performed
- Respond promptly to unplanned maintenance needs
Requirements
- Michigan Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License
- At least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder logic, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and off-shifts
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SAP/PPE systems
- Food processing maintenance experience
- Proficiency with calibration tools
