About the role
This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Diagnose issues with electronic controls, PLCs, and instrumentation
- Follow safety procedures, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO)
- Document work accurately
Requirements
- Hold an Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in Michigan
- At least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Ability to work off-shift hours
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Allen-Bradley systems (preferred)
- Computer literacy
- Experience in food processing environments (preferred)
- Proficiency with calibration tools (preferred)
Skills
- Troubleshooting PLCs and ladder logic
- Interpreting technical diagrams
- Operating diagnostic tools
