Electrician II
About the role
The Electrician II position involves leading and performing electrical duties such as installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance for a specific client(s). This role adheres to all Federal, State, and Local laws.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform electrical duties including installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance.
- Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.
- Use electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.
- Make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment.
- Support mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances.
- Work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Electrical Certification or License.
- Three (3) plus years of experience as an Electrician Apprentice and/or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
- Ability to learn additional programs quickly.
- Six (6+) plus years’ experience as an electrician.
- Prior work experience in a commercial setting.
Qualifications

Must have the ability to use electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics. Must be able to make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment. Must support mechanical and electrical repairs. Must interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances. Must be able to work varying shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
