Electrician I, Shop

Responsibilities

• Assembly of control panels and associated components
• Layout and mount various electrical and mechanical components
• Panel wiring in accordance with provided drawings
• Perform functional testing in accordance with established procedures
• Fabrication of various in-house designed sheet metal components
• Bending and forming of rigid conduit and various tubing materials
• Perform special testing as required
• Perform troubleshooting of electrical control systems
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an Associates Degree in Electrical / Electronics is preferred, but not required.
• Must have knowledge of Electrical AC/DC theory.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems is a plus.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint are preferred, but not required.
• Self-motivated and multi-task oriented with good organizational skills.
