Job Summary

ELECTRN Department FACILITIES PLANNING & MGMT is hiring an Electrician. The position offers a starting salary range of $105,841 - $105,841 annually, equivalent to $50.69 per hour. The position is a career appointment with 100% union coverage under K6 Contract. There is one opening available.

About the Role

Performs skilled journeyman electrician tasks, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems, equipment, and components. Coordinates services with Hospital employees and contractors. Standards are to be performed at the EXPERT level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, equipment and components such as motors and motor controllers, lighting systems, control devices, switches and cables.
• Test, troubleshoot, and locate electrical malfunctions using appropriate test instruments.
• Cook with Hospital employees and contractors.

Requirements

• Proof of Journeyman Electrician status.
• Five (5) or more years of experience working on institutional construction projects.
• Two (2) or more years of experience working on OSHPD-regulated projects.
• Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with tools, equipment, and products of the trade.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift motors.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrician License.
• Ability to work within infection control containments.
• Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.

Pay Transparency Act

The Annual Full Pay Range is $105,841 - $105,841 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). The Hourly Equivalent is $50.69 - $50.69. Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
