Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including automatic and process controls, switchboards, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic control systems.
- Plan and lay out wiring for complex circuits and equipment installations with multiple connections.
- Set up and maintain secondary distribution systems, including load balancing and power distribution.
- Diagnose electrical issues, replace or repair defective components (e.g., control modules), and perform testing and system adjustments.
- Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Rebuild and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local safety regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
- Certified Electrician (license or certification required).
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work any shift as required to support operations.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role supports production and may require working any shift as needed to support operations.
