Responsibilities

  • Layout, wiring, implementation and testing of the electrical systems on all manufactured products
  • Day-to-day operation with actual manufacturing processes of building furnace equipment
  • Electrical knowledge including high and low voltage, schematics, drives systems, temperature controllers, PID loops, basic understanding of PLC programming, and troubleshooting
  • Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, VFD)
  • Wires all electrical systems maintaining UL and CE compliance
  • Background knowledge of ISO 9001 is helpful
  • Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, AC and DC circuits
  • Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Fabricate and install parts that conform to Engineering CAD drawings
  • Analyzing needs and product requirements to improve designs
  • Provide feedback of potential improvements to Engineering Departments
  • Provide equipment startup commissioning at end user facility

Requirements

  • Willing to travel domestically & internationally
  • Position may involve access to information subject to ITAR; applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations
  • Experience of working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years prior work experience related to electrical systems
  • Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC background is helpful
  • High school diploma/GED and Trade Tech, or college degree
  • Experience in forklift driving, scissor lift, and other common shop machinery is helpful
