- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed
- Cold Room/Freezers: -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
- Standing for full shift
- Variety of outside weather conditions

Qualifications
- Completion of a formal electrical apprentice or military program
- or a 2- or 4-year electrical technical degree
- 10+ years of experience in electrical work in an industrial and/or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Must be trained and practice safe work procedures and demonstrate knowledge of NFPA70E, Lock Out/Tag Out Systems
- Proven knowledge and working experience with building electrical utility generation and distributions systems, MCCs/ MDPs, emergency generators, transfer switches, transformers, VFDs, infrared scanning
- Valid driver's license to travel between sites
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs, and/or solicits proposals for work on low voltage control circuits up to 480V for various systems, MCC’s, MDPs, emergency generators, transfer switches, transformers, VFDs and PLC’s.
- Develop parts lists, submit orders, establish timelines, and direct support staff for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, NEC, and local regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Collaborate with mechanics, fabricators, and team members on projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and ohmmeters efficiently.
- Assist with general shop and non-electrical tasks as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Participate in the site’s Electrical Safety Team.
- Respond to electrical emergencies outside normal working hours.
- Adhere to GMP documentation and cleanroom work requirements.
- Coincide with work with the Planner/Scheduler to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of work orders and projects.
- Coincide with and execute sitewide power shutdowns for various systems.
- Monitor electrical system performance and recommend improvements.
- Perform or support mechanical, general carpentry, or other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
