About the role

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Electrical Technician to support our customers through expert installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems. This role combines panel building in our shop with on-site work at customer sites, where you'll handle everything from routine preventive maintenance to urgent, complex repairs. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. What You'll Do

  • Assist in performing installation, testing, and repair of all industrial related electrical and electronic equipment utilized in manufacturing plants or distribution systems. This equipment includes, but is not limited to VFD's, soft starters, and MCC's.
  • Arrive on time and prepared to work on a daily basis.
  • Assist in running conduit for new installations, pulling wire, and making terminations.
  • Customer Service
  • Maintain high quality work standards.
  • Assist with equipment installation, wiring, start-up, and troubleshooting techniques.

What You'll Need

  • Highly motivated with interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Electrical, instrumentation, controls, technical training, or equivalent education or experience a plus but not required.
  • Experience in the water/wastewater or mining industry a plus but not required.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to complete required safety training classes and comply with OSHA, MSHA or any authority having jurisdiction.
  • Must have the ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Must be prepared to take direction from multiple senior coworkers and be willing to learn and grow your skill set on a daily basis with an eye on a long term career in the industrial field.
