Electrical Technician
Responsibilities and Duties
- Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards, codes and customer’s concerns, preferences or requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems
- Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working as a fire alarm install technician preferred
- Familiar with NFPA codes and standards
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment
