Electrical Team Lead, Capacity Delivery

The Capacity Delivery Team
The Capacity Delivery Team is working on several key problems, including:
- Engineering gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years
- Designing data centers that go up in months, not years, with no room for rework
- Creating a reference design that can be built multiple times, with each build starting ahead of the last
Role Scope
The role will own electrical engineering across the portfolio, including distribution from utility interface to rack, reference design to energization. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and evolving the electrical reference design, including switchgear lineups, UPS topology, and busway
- Making field electrical calls at build speed and owning energization readiness site by site
- Reviewing consultant studies, including short circuit, coordination, and arc flash, critically rather than ceremonially
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has led electrical engineering for data center or heavy industrial builds, and has experience reviewing protection and coordination studies. The ideal candidate will have owned energization sequences with utilities and AHJs, and will be able to balance speed and safety in their decision-making.
Bonus qualifications include a PE license, experience with MV and HV distribution, behind-the-meter generation, and utility interconnection.
Qualifications
We are committed to pay equity and transparency. The compensation range for this role is $237K - $300K.
