About the role
RGD Project Management provides owner’s representative and project management support for complex capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, advanced manufacturing, and industrial environments. The team brings deep field expertise in safety, quality, and GMP project execution across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, utilities, and process construction and installation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Electrical SME representing the client’s interests across expansion projects
- Perform field verification to validate installation against design specifications and standards
- Provide design assistance by reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and single-line diagrams
- Support and manage the RFI process, ensuring technical clarity and resolution between stakeholders
- Act as a technical liaison between engineering, construction teams, vendors, and the client
- Review and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction documents
- Identify risks, gaps, and inconsistencies in design and field execution
- Provide recommendations and solutions based on technical expertise and industry best practices
- Participate in site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings
- Ensure electrical systems meet quality, safety, and performance standards
- Support project delivery by driving technical alignment and issue resolution
- Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and tangible documents
- Ability to run larger, more complex projects
- Effectively delegate project tasks to project management team
- Lead the vision for project procedures and processes for running the project
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Attendance at work during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong experience with electrical infrastructure systems (e.g., power distribution, switchgear, UPS, etc.)
- Proven ability to read and interpret: Electrical drawings, Single-line diagrams, Technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with field verification and construction support
- Familiarity with RFI processes and design coordination workflows
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with peers, leaders, and clients
- Proactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression

Preferred Education And Experience
- Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
- Experience: 6+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management
- Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED
