About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performs commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small-project installations across a variety of commercial facilities.
  • Requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and strong technical skill in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in active, occupied buildings.
  • Possesses strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, ability to work independently, and familiarity with commercial building systems.
  • Executes all types of conduit bends using various bender types, installs raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers, and assists with wire pulling and switchboard installation.
  • Installs light fixtures, devices, and cover plates, connects branch circuits including terminations and equipment, performs basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems, reads and interprets blueprints and schematics, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in a commercial specialist/service role
  • Expert-level troubleshooting skills in a commercial setting
  • Must have ability to run and lead small-size projects (1-4 electricians)
  • Possess an active state Journeyman electrical license
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Able to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
  • Perform NEC calculations
  • Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
  • Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
  • Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
  • Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
  • Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Pay

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license.

Schedule

  • Travel nationwide, up to 100%
  • Shifts and hours vary by project but will include night and weekend shifts
