A leading electrical contractor is seeking a Director of Service Operations to lead and expand its Electrical Service Division across the Dallas/Fort Worth market. About the Role

This role will oversee all aspects of service operations, including client development, project execution, financial performance, workforce management, and strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing existing service accounts
  • Responsible for obtaining new service accounts and developing business opportunities
  • Oversee service billings, collections, and departmental profitability
  • Manage monthly forecasting of service projects and service operations
  • Coordinate local and regional service projects from initiation through completion
  • Lead and develop service managers, coordinators, and field personnel
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top service talent
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development initiatives
  • Implement and maintain company management systems and operational processes
  • Manage service fleet operations, vehicle inventory, and equipment allocation
  • Oversee service tool inventory and asset management
  • Ensure warranty obligations and project closeout procedures are completed efficiently
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management degree, or equivalent experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong practical electrical construction and service experience
  • Proven leadership experience within an electrical contractor environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Strong financial management and forecasting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction software preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability

Pay

$165,000 - $175,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
