About the role
As an Electrical Project Engineer in our Kansas office, you will be responsible for engineering design processes on assigned projects within the discipline of electrical systems. You will also develop innovative and unique engineering solutions that align with project, client, and project partner needs, and lead the discipline team in implementing these solutions.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing engineering designs for power distribution and lighting systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals and client requirements.
- Leading the implementation of innovative engineering solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Communicating project progress and issues to stakeholders, including clients and project partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSAE) from an ABET accredited program.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
- Professional engineering registration preferred.
- Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
