About the role

This position will join the Command System team to support electrical and power design/analysis activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and must possess fundamental electrical engineering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains accurate power requirements throughout the product development
  • Supports power system designs, power load management, power analysis and will release power system deliverables
  • Supports design engineering for electrical analysis, power architecture development, and part selection
  • Supports internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings
  • Supports program milestone reviews and delivers leadership status updates
  • Maintains and reports status of program activities
  • Ensures appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams

Requirements

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints
  • Demonstrate leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.

Qualifications

  • Engineer Electrical: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Principal Engineer Electrical: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.
  • Electrical engineering experience in electrical architecture, power system design and/or analysis
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)

Pay

The primary level salary range is $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 and the secondary level salary range is $114,000.00 - $171,000.00.

Schedule

The position follows a 9/80 schedule, allowing employees to take every other Friday off.
