About the role
The Launch System team oversees multiple electrical power sub-system and component designs required for the Sentinel program. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
Responsibilities
- Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings
- Supporting formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates
- Working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels
- Ensuring appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams
- Cooking and reviewing engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, part data sheets, interconnect connect diagrams, specifications, electrical analysis and trade studies
- Performing research, trade studies, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment, and more
- Possessing strong interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints
- Demonstrating leadership principles – Integrity, respect, organizational, communication etc.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree
- Principal Electrical Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Familiarity with industry/Military standards and codes (IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEC 60332, IEEE 299, UL, NEC 770, ISO 9001)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication for preparing technical reports, specifications, and presenting design concepts to stakeholders
- Experience with electrical designs and/or analysis of subsystems or components

Pay
$79,300.00 - $118,900.00 for the Primary Level
$98,400.00 - $147,600.00 for the Secondary Level
