About the role

The Command System team oversees the ground design of multiple electrical components required at different Sentinel weapon system facilities located across the nation. This position is located in Roy, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Attending internal program, and/or technical exchange meetings
  • Support formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates
  • Working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels
  • Ensure appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams
  • Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products
  • Create interconnect diagrams in support of the Command Systems Architecture development
  • Review engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, part data sheets, interconnect connect diagrams, specifications, electrical analysis and trade studies
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints

Requirements

  • Engineer Electrical: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree
  • Principal Engineer Electrical: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience with Systems Engineering methods and design practices
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication for preparing technical reports, specifications, and presenting design concepts to stakeholders

Pay

$79,300.00 - $118,900.00 for the primary level, and $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 for the secondary level.

Schedule

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The standard work schedule is a 9/80, allowing employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
