Lead technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectives throughout the system lifecycle. This role supports defense technology advancements, ensuring system reliability and performance in demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, integrate, and validate complex electrical power architectures for radar systems
- Lead technical efforts and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet power solution objectives
- Ensure compliance with performance, reliability, safety, and cost requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or 9+ years of experience without a degree)
- 7+ years of relevant experience (or 9+ years without a degree)
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
- Expertise in high-power systems (100 kW+), AC/DC power distribution, and energy storage
- Familiarity with military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1399)
