About the Role
A senior technical professional responsible for designing, analyzing, integrating, and validating complex electrical power architectures for radar systems. Leads technical efforts, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure power solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, and cost objectives throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support high-power electrical systems (100 kW+), including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, inverters, and rectifiers.
- Contribute to the conceptual design of power distribution, generation, conversion, and energy storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with military standards such as MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-1399.
- Perform system requirements analysis and proposal support for power architecture development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 7+ to 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
